Our expertise falls under two general areas, policy research and macroeconoimc research:
policy research
Government or Organisational intiatives could create observable impacts that can be captured and measured. Researching policy effects tend to examine a before-and-after scenario and provide an analysis on the effectiveness of the policy on the targeted group.
Research areas tend to lean towards microeconomic domains, such as education, labour, health, gender and envrionmental research. The econometric work tends to utilise panel structure micro-data.

By working with aggregated data, an economy-wide analysis could be made that give insights into particular markets and industries. Research in this area tends to focus on existing trends and understanding their evolution over time.
Research areas tend to focus on macroeconomic domains, such as inflation, production, trade and labour markets. The econometric work utilises time-series data using economy-wide indicators.
HOW WE CONDUCT RESEARCH
We conduct thourough research similar to research found in Academia. Using academia oriented research guidlines and methods, we produce reliable, and high-quality research that is comparable to those of journal (research) papers. Our research is convied in a high-level manner towards the end user, with access towards the final in-detail research paper as well. BRG is a low-profit social enterprise, where we conduct our work with the highest amount of transparency. As part of this transparency objective, we have one simple flat rate for all research that is publicly available. Our current rates for 2022 to Q1 of 2023 is at 18 Bahraini Dinars per hour.

Tareq is our Liaison and Head of Business Development. He is currently a final year student at Bangor University in Banking and Finance w/ Islamic FInance Diploma.
